1. Scope and who we are
This Privacy Policy applies to the RoamLink mobile application and the RoamLink privacy website. It explains what information is handled, why it is used, where it is stored, and the choices available to you.
RoamLink is intended only for people who are at least 18 years old. The app asks for age confirmation during registration.
2. Information handled by RoamLink
Information you provide
- Account details: username, display name, password credential used by the local mock sign-in flow, and age confirmation.
- Profile and travel details: avatar, biography, home city, destination, travel dates, traveler role, and interests.
- Social content: likes, passes, blocks, reports, journey answers, photos, private messages, and video call history.
- Preferences: notification choices, permission status, filters, and owned theme packs.
Information generated through use
- Mock journey participation, task completion, matching state, and message timestamps.
- Diamond transactions, product identifiers, theme-pack purchases, and StoreKit transaction identifiers used to prevent duplicate credit.
- Basic diagnostic information produced by the operating system if the app fails. RoamLink does not operate a remote analytics service in the current mock build.

- Authenticate the local demo account and keep your session active.
- Show travelers, cities, journeys, messages, and theme packs relevant to your selections.
- Persist your interactions so they remain available after restarting the app.
- Apply safety controls such as blocking, reporting, age gating, and message limits.
- Process StoreKit product availability and credit successful diamond purchases.
- Maintain app reliability, prevent duplicate transactions, and respond to support or privacy requests.
5. Storage and retention

Deleting your RoamLink account removes the account's locally stored mock records. Uninstalling the app or clearing its storage also removes local app data. Information held by Apple or your email provider must be managed through those services.
6. Sharing and service providers
RoamLink does not sell personal information. In the current mock build, application records are not sent to a RoamLink backend. Information may still be handled by:
- Apple App Store and StoreKit for product listings, purchases, receipts, refunds, and transaction history.
- Your operating system when you grant camera, microphone, photo, location, ringtone, or notification access.
- Your email provider and RoamLink support if you choose to contact us.
- Authorities or professional advisers where disclosure is required by law or necessary to protect users and legal rights.
7. Purchases
Diamond bundles are consumable in-app purchases processed by Apple StoreKit on iOS. RoamLink receives product and transaction identifiers and the purchase result needed to credit diamonds. RoamLink does not receive your full payment-card number. Theme packs purchased with diamonds are recorded in local app storage.
8. International processing
Most app data stays on your device in the current build. Apple and email services may process information in countries outside your residence. Their safeguards and locations are described in their own privacy notices.
9. Your choices and rights
- Review and edit profile and travel information in the app.
- Change or revoke device permissions in operating-system settings.
- Manage notifications, blocks, matching filters, and social interactions.
- Delete your account and its associated local mock records from Account & Data.
- Ask questions or request access, correction, or deletion of information you sent to RoamLink support.
Depending on where you live, privacy law may provide additional rights, including objection, restriction, portability, or a right to complain to a data-protection authority.
10. Security
RoamLink limits app data to local storage in the current mock build and uses platform APIs for sensitive permissions and purchases. No storage method is completely secure. Protect your device with a passcode, keep the operating system current, and do not share your account password.
11. Adults only
RoamLink is not directed to children and does not permit registration by anyone under 18. If you believe a person under 18 has provided information through RoamLink support, contact us so we can investigate and delete it where appropriate.
12. Website data
This standalone privacy-policy page does not include advertising, analytics, account login, or tracking cookies. A hosting provider may process ordinary request logs such as IP address, browser type, requested page, and time for security and delivery purposes.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when app features, storage practices, platform requirements, or laws change. The version and effective date at the top identify the current policy. Material changes may be highlighted in the app before they take effect.
